How does the Elfa Utility System work?

The Elfa Utility System is a modular system that allows you to customise your own spice rack to suit your needs. Simply start with the Elfa Utility Wall Band. This can be drilled to the door or for a tool-free option (especially for rentals), pair with the Over The Door Hooks.

Then, choose from 3 basket sizes and their 2 finishes to customise the system to your liking. Opt for small baskets for spices, medium for tinned foods, and large for sauce bottles and bags of flour.

Each basket can be clicked in anywhere along the vertical Wall Band thanks to the easy click-in system. Don't worry, you can change their position at any time.

Do I need tools to install Elfa's Utility Storage System

No tools are required for basic installation. The rack simply hooks over the door. If you prefer a more permanent solution, you can screw-mount the top and bottom of the rack for extra stability, though it is not required. Making it a great option for rentals and hollow doors.
